HOURS: Full-time; 40 hours per week

We are looking for a Production Planner to own our Warehouse production schedule and help drive on-time delivery across our operation. This role is responsible for planning, prioritizing, and balancing warehouse workload to ensure orders move efficiently from production through shipment. You will play a critical role in labor planning, execution, and daily decision-making that directly impacts our ability to deliver to customers. Your performance will directly impact on-time delivery and overall operational efficiency. You will work closely with production, warehouse, logistics, and inventory teams to solve problems in real time and improve how we operate.

What You’ll Do

Own Warehouse Scheduling

Build and manage the daily and weekly warehouse production schedule

Print and prep work orders

  • Plan ahead to balance workload, labor, and priorities
  • Adjust schedules in real time based on constraints and changing demand
  • Ensure work is aligned to meet on-time delivery goals
  • Communicate with Customer Service, Procurement, Inventory, and Shipping teams to create a smooth order to fulfillment process.

 

Support Logistics, Inventory & Manufacturing Planning

  • Assist with outbound shipment coordination and prioritization during our busy seasons
  • Support inventory analysis, data mining, and problem solving
  • Cross-train in manufacturing scheduling to provide backup support

 


 

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify issues that impact delivery, inventory, or efficiency
  • Take action to resolve problems quickly and prevent recurrence
  • Contribute to process improvements across planning, inventory, and logistics

 


Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years’ experience in:
    • Production planning or scheduling (manufacturing environment preferred)
    • Inventory control
    • Logistics coordination
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable making decisions and adjusting plans in real time
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong comfortability with Excel and other Microsoft products

 


Preferred

  • Exposure to both planning and logistics functions
  • Interest in obtaining certification through APICS (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent). Certified candidates may be eligible for additional compensation.

Physical Requirements

  • Works primarily in office environment to include cubicles and/or in and around shipping/receiving docks and rotational molding environment.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time. Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, heat and cold.
